MOFCOM Release its Ruling at Midterm Review on Anti-dumping Measures against Imp

MOFCOM released its ruling at midterm review on anti-dumping measures against imports of neoprene originated in DENKI KAGAKU KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHA in its Announcement 45, 2013 issued on July 26.

The Announcement says that upon investigation, the Ministry of Commerce ruled that during the review investigation period, there was dumping of imports of neoprene originated in DENKIKAGAKU KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHA and the dumping margin was 20.8%. In accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Anti-dumping, as the Ministry of Commerce suggested, Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council decided that starting from July 26, 2013, the anti-dumping duty rate applicable for imports of neoprene originated in DENKIKAGAKU KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHA will be 20.8%. The importers, when importing the above products, shall pay the anti-dumping duties to the Customs of People’s Republic of China in light of the anti-dumping duty rate determined by the review ruling.

Ministry of Commerce decided to launch an anti-dumping review investigation on August 8, 2012. The products under investigation are listed under tariff codes of 40024910 “Other chloroprene rubber (neoprene) in primary form” and 40024990 “chloroprene rubber (neoprene) not elsewhere specified” in the Customs Import and Export Tariff of the People's Republic of China.
