Price of Agro-foodstuff and Material for Production Kept Rising
The wholesale prices of 18 vegetables were up by 3.4% as compared with that of
the previous week due to reducing supply of leaf vegetables in high temperature,
and top rise in price are that of cabbage, celery and rape, up by14.1%, 12.5%
and 10.5% respectively. The price of meats maintained a steady rise, of which
the wholesale price of porkrose by2% as compared with that of previous week, and
beef rose by 0.2%, while lamb remained unchanged. The retail prices of chicken
and egg saw a slight rise, of which the price of eggs rose by 0.4% as compared
with that of the previous weekafter falling for five consecutive weeks,and
chicken was up by 0.1%.The average wholesale prices of 8 kinds of aquatic
products were up by 0.3% as compared with that of the previous week, andtop drop
in price are that ofsilver carp, grass carp and crucian carp, rose by 1.2%, 1%
and 0.8% respectively.Retail prices of edibleoil and grain remained basically
stable, of which small package of rice rose by 0.2%as compared with that of
previous week,while soybean oil fell by 0.1%, and small package of flour, peanut
oil and rapeseed oil remained unchanged.
Of major materials for
production, prices of rubber, materials for agricultural production, energy
resources, non-ferrous metals, steel, chemical products and mineral products
rose, while building materials fell and materials for light industry remained
unchanged.The price of rubber rose by 1% as compared with that of previous week.
The production cost of synthetic rubber increased due to increasing price of
butadiene, and the price of butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, and
nitrile rubberwere up by 6%, 2.2% and 2.1% respectively. The price of energy
resources was up by 0.6%, of whichoil rose by 2.8%, coke remained unchanged, and
raw coal fell by1.4%. Price of non-ferrous metal was up by 0.4%, of which nickel
#1, copper #1 and lead #1rose by 1.7%, 0.8% and 0.2% respectively, and zinc #1
and aluminum A00 rose by 0.2% and 0.1% respectively, while tin #1 fell by
0.5%.The price of steel rose by 0.2%, with the price of Φ12mm threaded steel bar
and Φ6.5mm high speed line materials rising by 0.4%. Price of chemical products
rose by 0.1%, of which styrene, PA and toluene were up by 2.4%, 1.8% and 0.9%
respectively, while phenol and benzene fell by 3% and 0.6% respectively.The
price of mineral products rose by 0.1% over the previous week, of which zinc
oreand copper ore were up by1% and 0.7% respectively, while iron ore andlead ore
remained unchanged. The price of materials for light industry remained
unchanged, of which chemical fiber was up by 0.5%, while cotton was down by
0.1%.
